The PoE 2 Build Helper Trade Bridge extension and the Build Helper site, in plain words.

The extension

Its single purpose: when the Build Helper page asks for the price of an item, the extension sends that item's trade search to the trade API of pathofexile.com from your browser and gives the listings back to the page.
The request goes to pathofexile.com only, the way a trade search you typed yourself would, so it carries your own pathofexile.com session as your browser normally sends it. We never see it.
It collects no personal data, no browsing history, no account data, and makes no analytics or tracking calls.
It keeps nothing on disk. The only thing it remembers is how many requests it recently sent, in memory, to stay under GGG's rate limits; this is lost when the browser closes the extension's background process.
It does not sell, share or transfer data. It has no server of its own.
It runs on this site's Build Helper pages only (and on localhost for development). It cannot see other sites.

The builds you paste are read in your browser and on our server to build the comparison. They are not stored by us.
The feedback bubble sends the message you write, the page you were on and a short one-way code made from your connection address (used only to stop spam, it cannot be turned back into the address) to us. Please do not write personal details in it.
Visits are counted anonymously (the page, the country, the browser kind): no cookies and no personal data.
A Share link keeps your builds inside the link itself (after the # sign), not on a server.
Settings the page remembers, such as your last entries, stay in your own browser.
