1. In the game, hover the item and press Ctrl+C.
2. Open Price Check and paste the text.
3. Read the price. Tick or untick modifiers to widen or narrow the search, the way you would on the trade site.

Price Check is a browser version of Exiled Exchange 2, the open-source price checker for Path of Exile 2. It turns the item you copied into the same search you would build by hand on the official trade site, with sensible defaults for which modifiers count.

• Untick modifiers that do not matter for the item's use: a cheap, useless modifier can make a good item look rare.
• Rare items are priced against similar listings, so look at the several cheapest results, not only the first.
• A fresh league has few listings; the price becomes steadier after the first days.

The official trade site limits how fast searches can be made, so a search may wait a moment when many people use it. The price is the cheapest listing, not what the item will sell for.
